The Boomerang Farm is in Mudgeeraba near the Gold Coast. The name comes from it originating as a dairy farm, and later becoming a tourist attraction for throwing boomerangs. In the 1990s it was developed into a golf course.
The golf course consists of 9 holes with 18 tees, ranging from par 3 to par 5 holes, spread over nearly 20 hectares of Boomerang Farm. If you don’t have your own golfing gear, that is OK. You can hire clubs, hand cart, or a golf buggy if you don’t want to walk the course.
The brown sign is ‘Boomerang Farm Golf Course’, but it is more than just a golf course. It is an events and wedding venue, and a mountain bike park.
The website has no information about the mountain bike park, other than it is coming soon. The Outlook Riders Alliance has a lot of information about the mountain bike park. Outlook Riders Alliance is a not for profit club that are at Boomerang Farm most weekends, and offer a shuttle service for a fee.
The bike park itself is open 7 days a week, and you can operate your own shuttle if you have a 4wd.
