Hennessey Mountain Bike Track is a downhill mountain bike track set up in the Glass House Mountains, not far from the Glass House Mountains Scenic Lookout
.
Maintained by the Sunshine Coast Council and D’Aguilar Range Cycling Club, the 1km track runs along the Beerburrum Woodford Rd and features jumps, drop-offs, steeply banked berms, technical terns, rock gardens, and loose and rough surfaces.
It is a Black Diamond Rated track, or Very Difficult, by the IMBA rating (International Mountain Bike Association). A sign is at the starting mound displaying the rating and map of the track.
At the bottom of the hill, there is some space to park to collect bikes and riders, to transport back up the hill.
The name of the track is from the Hennessey family who settled in the area in the 1870s.
