Pot Alley is a scenic destination along the Kalbarri National Park Coastal Cliffs 
with a gorge cut into the red sandstone cliffs of the coastline.
Pot Alley is one of two close gorge views with Eagle Gorge being close to where Pot Alley is. The two destinations have different vistas with the lookout for Pot Alley looking south along the coastline, whereas the lookout for Eagle Gorge looks at it towards the north.
Pot Alley shows the same distinct features as many of the brown sign destinations in the Kalbarri National Park , including those in the inland gorge parts. The iron-rich red sandstone with layers of different shades and colours are beautiful.
Pot Alley has a fabulous attribute in that you can walk down to the beach. The water can be rough and there are rocks underneath so care and sensibility is needed and the unpatrolled beach may not be suitable for everyone to take a swim. The small beach has a permanent rip running out of the narrow gorge. It’s still worth having an explore even if you don’t have a swim and the walk isn’t too hard, about 15 minutes or less.
As with the rest of the Kalbarri National Park coastline, Pot Alley faces west that is ideal for setting up for amazing sunsets.
