Queens Beach is one of many on the Redcliffe Peninsula with Queens Beach North
and Scarborough Beach above it, and Queens Beach South
and the Redcliffe Jetty
below.
A pathway is along the full length of the beach, which goes almost the full shoreline of the Redcliffe Peninsula, from Newport to Pelican Park
in Clontarf.
The beach is nice and sandy for the most part, however, the southern part has a lot of exposed rock bed that is common along the foreshore of Redcliffe. Accessing from Queens St is the easiest to access the beach and is where the sandiest part of the beach is.

Queens Beach can also be accessed from Silvester St and the southern end of Queens Beach with a few stairs, or from Eversleigh Rd between the other two with a lot more stairs to walk down to the beach.
There is a seat near Queen St access, as well as a shower and rubbish bin. To get a picnic table you will have to walk between the Silvester St and Eversleigh Rd access points to find it. It’s in a rather awkward location to cart your things to. You are far better of heading to Queens Beach North if you want to use picnic tables.

Eversleigh Rd access had a makeover in 2020. A set of wooden stairs in sections lead down from the higher level the street finishes at. It used to have a single bench seat with an obscured view.
The stairs remain but the view is now from a fenced platform with a couple of bench seats and unobscured views across the bay towards Moreton Island.
