The Big Chook in Mount Vernon is located at an egg farm. The best view of the Big Chook is from the roadside, which is accessible at any time, but if you want to get some fresh eggs, you will need to attend during opening hours of the farm.
Standing around 4 metres high, The Big Chook was built by Chris Sammut, using chicken wire and duct tape, then sprayed with fibreglass.
