Big Sundial

Built as part of the 1988 Bicentennial Riverside Park Project, the Big Sundial in Singleton is the largest sundial in the southern hemisphere. It stands 7.92 metres tall, and a massive 14.6 metres long. The Big Sundial was constructed out of galvanised steel and concrete. The concrete alone was 30 tonnes.
