Visible from Gsell St, The Big Fish decorates the front yard of Wanguri Pre-School, Northern Territory. The Big Fish is covered in a coloured tile mosaic, made by artist Techy Masero.
Its name is Damibilia, meaning Barramundi Larrakia for Barramundi. The name was from a competition won by local student, Christopher May.
In 2025, The Big Fish was included as one of Australia’s Big Things in the Aussie Big Things 2 Collection. In the collection, it was named as The Big Barramundi, including on the coin itself.
