Travelling solo back home from Sydney, I decided to look up a few big things to break up the trip. The Big Koala Family near Port Macquarie was one of the quick stops.
The Big Koala Family sit on a trunk outside the Billabong Zoo 
, which was first established as a Koala & Wildlife Park.
There is a selfie camera stand in front of the koalas to assist with family and solo photography shots, or to simply pick a good spot to get a photo of The Big Koala Family. I attended in the morning and found the light not the best with the sun on the wrong side for an ideal picture.
I took a photo from the other side with the sun behind me. I managed to get a photo of the Big Koala Family Butts with great lighting. If you have the luxury to choose when to go, a photo in the afternoon will give a better photo.
