From Yelarbon, turn into Yelarbon Keetah Rd following the Border Rivers Tourist Drive. Continue along Yelarbon Keetah Rd, becoming Kildonan Rd, for 21.3km and the entrance will be on the left with the blue sign for Bengalla Reserve.

From Goondiwindi, there is a roundabout where the Cunningham Hwy and Newell Hwy intersects. Head east on Kildonan Rd following the Border Rivers Tourist Drive. Continue on Kildonan Rd for 32.6km and the entrance will be on the right with the blue sign for Bengalla Reserve.

Bengalla Reserve is 3.6km passed the entrance of Lees Reserve, 7.6km passed the entrance of Yellowbank Reserve, and 15.2km passed the entrance of Rainbow Reserve.

Access to the camp sites is initially along a well-maintained dirt road for 850m. It then becomes a dirt track for the next 200-250m. Some parts follow steeper sections or sand to reach camp sites, so take care and use only tracks that are suitable for your vehicle.
