Follow Lyches Creek Rd for 9km, then turn left at another brown sign to continue on Lynches Creek Rd. Follow for 1.3km and turn left again into Forest Rd, with another brown sign to Border Ranges National Park. After 1.6km, the road splits in a fork. Continue towards the right to remain on Forest Rd. Continue on Forest Rd for 4.2km and the entrance to Sheepstation Creek will be on the left.

From Lions Road on the Queensland border, head south...  Turn left into Simes Rd at the brown sign for Border Ranges National Park. Follow Simes Rd for 3.2km, then turn left into Forest Rd at another brown sign for Border Ranges National Park. The track into the campground is a narrow track, wide enough for only one vehicle. Be careful and watch for traffic, especially since vehicles towing will have difficulties having to reverse.
