Summerland Farm is a macadamia and avocado farm in Alstonville, between Ballina and Lismore. Taste the region’s delicious produce, meet the farm animals and enjoy a day with the family in the country on a real Australian working farm.
We dropped by for a quick look so we didn’t stay for too long but we were due for a coffee, so we headed to the cafe and produce store. The produce store sells a variety of goods, many locally produced, including their own. The Macadamia Dukka and Macadamia Oil made from their macadamias.

We had already visited the pie shop in Wardell, bamboozled by the choice of pie flavours with too many we wanted to try. We were pleasantly surprised to see Summerland House Farm were selling Wardell Pies, so we managed to try some additional flavours. We just about cleared out their stock.

The grounds have plenty of spots to relax while consuming the food and coffee. As a quick stop, we didn’t go into the animal park attraction there, which caters more towards children and we were sans-children for this trip.
