The Afghanistan Avenue of Honour is a memorial dedicated to the memory of those who served in the fight in Afghanistan.
The Afghanistan Avenue of Honour is a living memorial dedicated to the memory of all who served in the fight against terror in Afghanistan and to those brave and selfless Australians who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of freedom and liberty.
The Avenue of Honour is on the edges of Lake Tinaroo, comprised of three main elements:
- The entrance and pathway to the monument
- The memorial and honour board
- The journey home leading away from the central monument towards the lake
