The Earthquake Fault Line is a short distance from Meckering in South Australia and on the way to the Earthquake Site. The fault line is of the Meckering Fault Line which had a major earthquake in 1968.
The earthquake is the most destructive that has occurred in Australia, destroying nearly 100 buildings and felt hundreds of kilometres away.
Meckering has a Meckering Earthquake Display 
on the side of the highway through the town that provides information about the earthquake.
The fault line was distinctive after the earthquake but it has mostly been flattened since.
