From Tenterfield Visitor Information Centre, head south along the New England Hwy towards Glen Innes. Follow the New England Hwy for about 47km to reach Deepwater. Entering the town of Deepwater, turn left into Dundee St with a brown sign for Historic Deepwater Railway Station. Follow Dundee St for 400m to the end and turn right into Gough St. The entrance to the Deepwater Railway Station is 100m on the left.

From Glen Innes, head north along the New England Hwy towards Tenterfield. Follow the New England Hwy for about 38km to reach Deepwater. Entering the town of Deepwater, turn right into Dundee St with a brown sign for Historic Deepwater Railway Station. Follow Dundee St for 400m to the end and turn right into Gough St. The entrance to the Deepwater Railway Station is 100m on the left.
