The scenic lookout over the Gladstone National Park is next to the North West Coastal Highway, about 250m off the main road.
The views are beautiful from the hill on an otherwise fairly flat area through Western Australia. There are a few hills scattered here but this one has a road up to the top to the lookout.
The lookout is quite simple with some railings and a rubbish bin. Parking is easy with lots of space around.
Below the lookout people have rearranged stones to spell out words, simple pictures, and shapes. Names and initials seems to be the popular choices. A love heart sits near the initials GKLS and what looks like is the start of Homer Simpson is at the back.
The road up to the lookout is sealed to what is called Wooramel Lookout. The hill in the view shown can be driven to along a dirt track, called Gladstone Scenic Lookout.

The lookout is close to the 26th Parallel 
, which is the bottom of the North West region in Western Australia and the line of the South Australian and Northern Territory border. A brown sign for it is a couple of kilometres south along the highway.
