Mt Bauple Museum is in the middle of the Mount Bauple township, between Maryborough and Gympie on the Bauple Tourist Drive 6 
.
The museum has brilliantly been built on a disused road reserve. A much better use or the land that otherwise may have been left bare or perhaps a picnic table or two and a public toilet. It has those too and an interesting museum to go with them.
The museum has a variety of collected memorabilia and historical items. There are interesting items to have a look at outside the buildings.
