Esa Park is a great park away from the hustle and bustle of other Hervey Bay foreshore parks.
The park is somewhat simple yet it boasts all the facilities and features to ensure a wonderful family day. There are several sheltered picnic areas and free BBQs.
The playground has a climbing spider-web, swings, and spring rocking animals to keep the children entertained at the park.

The beach is nearby with quiet water and more sandy than other beaches at Point Vernon. Rocks are still a feature that is common at this part of Hervey Bay, great for exploring. Shells and corals can be found by curious visitors.

The playground and picnic area is surrounded by trees, making it feel natural and away from the urban suburb it is located in. The trees provide lots of shade, welcomed on hot days. The trees are also great breeding spots for protective magpies, one of which wasn’t happy with me being there.
Esa Park is named after ESA International, a non-profit organisation. There isn’t much information in addition to the origin of the name.
