From Hervey Bay Visitor Information Centre, exit the parking and turn right onto Urraween Rd and then left at the lights onto Maryborough Hervey Bay Rd. Continue for 1.8km and turn left at the roundabout onto Old Maryborough Rd, following the brown sign for Fraser Coast Tourist Drive. Continue on Old Maryborough Rd for 2.2km (ignoring the tourist drive signs), and turn left into Main St at the lights. Follow Main St for 650m, turning right at the second roundabout into Esplanade towards Torquay. Follow Esplanade for 4.7km with parking for Ron Beaton Park on the left, the brown sign is on the side of the road a little further on.
