Ululah Lagoon is a key feature of Anzac Park in Maryborough, abundant with wildlife who make the lagoon their home. The brown sign mentions Ululah Lagoon independently, Anzac Park and Ululah Lagoon is normally regarded as the same place with the lagoon bordering the park.
The lagoon was an important freshwater billabong for the local Aboriginal people. The Maryborough pioneers in the 19th century used the same resource for fresh water, building a jetty into the lagoon waters and a weir that is now Lions Drive.

Anzac Park is a popular destination with lots of activities to share with the family. Picnic tables and BBQs spread around make it a place to spend the day.
The playgrounds have a skate park for the older kids, and more traditional playground equipment in a shaded play area. It caters for those with a disability with the inclusion of a liberty swing.

The bird life around the lagoon is plentiful. Ducks and geese waddle near the waters edge, along with other birds such as cockatoos and water hens.

A concrete path runs around the lagoon and the golf course on the other side for cycling or walking.
Ululah Lagoon is a Parkrun location. The Maryborough Parkrun course
uses this path, a 5km run every Saturday morning free for anyone to attend. Signup online and bring your barcode if you want your times and attendance recorded.
