Something to note is that apartments have either ceiling fans or air conditioning. In Queensland summer, air-conditioning is just about an essential requirement, however, the cooler months it won’t necessarily matter, especially if you are coming from a cooler location.
If you prefer to cook outside, the BBQ facilities are located near the pool. After cooking up steaks and snags for the family, settle in for a soak in the heated pool and spa. The kids will have fun on the 8-metre water slide.
Feel like a meal cooked and served for you? Head to Seaview Terrace at Moffat Beach for a choice of eateries. Grab some take-away fish and chips and enjoy on the beach or the grass in between.
At the end of Bryce Street, where the entry to the resort is located, is a walkway through to Moffat Beach. Head down this walkway to reach the park and beach, as well as the food outlets at the far end of the street it comes out on.
From Moffat Beach, it is a short walk around the rocks to the north to Dicky Beach, about 600 metres along the sand. Or head the other direction to Moffat Headland Lookout (about 650 metres from Seaview Terrace) and onward along the walkways to Shelly Beach (another 500 to 900 metres). For a longer walk, continue beyond Shelly Beach all the way to Kings Beach and Bulcock Beach.
