Nestled behind the beaches of Cabarita, Tamarind Sands is a resort with units having one, two, and three bedrooms. Cabarita, or “Caba”, is a 15-minute walk, from Tamarind Sands to the shops and beach.
We have come to Tamarind Sands a few times over the years, used as a base to access the sights and features of the northern New South Wales beaches. You can book a room at Tamarind Sands
with Booking.com.
The resort has activities and features to keep adults and children happy. There is a giant outdoor chess set, outdoor table tennis, foosball table, playground, and a 9-hole mini golf course.

The outdoor heated pool is a common activity for guests of all ages, with a spa beside the pool. Next to the pool is a covered area with tables and chairs, and BBQs to cook up your family’s feast while the kids swim and have fun. On the other side of the pool is more BBQs and where the foosball and table tennis tables are found.
During this stay, the BBQs were used by the resort managers to cook up a BBQ breakfast for anyone who wanted it. It was a social meetup with the other guests while eating breaky, washed down with coffee and juice. The resort managers also chat and get to know their guests.
The rooms are fully equipped units, so if you prefer to cook indoors you can use the kitchen in the unit. Every stay we have had here, the rooms have been clean and tidy. The only issue you may have is the stairs if you have elderly or someone who otherwise find stairs a challenge, but the resort is happy to put you on a ground floor unit if one is available.
