Natural hot water springs, however, it is closed due to water supply issues. At this time (2024), Douglas Hot Springs is closed with no date set for it to reopen. The NT government and the Traditional Owners and the Northern Land Council are working together to resolve these issues.
Part of the Douglas Daly region, the Douglas Hot Springs is a thermal water spring with very hot water, enough to burn you if you enter where the water comes out. Travel further downsteam and the temperatures drops. Find that spot where the hot water meets the cold water for that perfect balance between hot and cold.
