From Mareeba Visitor Information Centre, turn right onto Byrnes St (Kennedy Hwy) heading north and follow for 150m. Turn left into Costin St with the brown sign for Coffee Works. Follow Costin St for 500m and turn right into Mason St with another brown sign for Coffee Works. Follow Mason St for 400m, turn left into Reynolds St at the brown sign for Granit Gorge and follow for 950m to the end, turning left into Chewko Rd. Follow Chewko Rd for 8km, passing Bunny Seary Lookout 700m before reaching Paglietta Rd. Turn right into Paglietta Rd with the brown sign for Granit Gorge Nature Park and follow for 2.7km. Turn left at the next brown sign to continue on Paglietta Rd, and follow for another 650m. The entrance to Granite Gorge Nature Park is on the right. The office of the park is 700 to 800 metres along the track.

If heading south on Kennedy Hwy into Mareeba, after crossing the bridge entering town, you will come to a roundabout. Continue straight ahead for another 1.7km and turn right into Basalt St at the brown sign for Granite Gorge (with the blue sign to Scout Den and Church). Follow Basalt St for 450m and turn right into Reynolds St at the brown sign for Granite Gorge. Follow Reynolds St for 950m to the end, turning left into Chewko Rd. Follow Chewko Rd for 8km, passing Bunny Seary Lookout 700m before reaching Paglietta Rd. Turn right into Paglietta Rd with the brown sign for Granit Gorge Nature Park and follow for 2.7km.
