This is a nice little scenic spot to stop next to the natural lagoon. Located a few kilometres from the main roads, it is quiet with little traffic. There are a few turns to follow after leaving the main road but the brown signs are plentiful and easy to follow. There is even a brown sign in front of the shelter once you reach there.

The facilities are basic with a sheltered picnic table and the view over the lagoon. The water in the lagoon was quite full, to the point it appeared a track that is normally exposed was under water.

There is nothing saying if you can or can’t camp there. The most I have found is a comment saying RVs can stay there. With no toilets, you should be self sufficient, or at least able to go later when you can get to somewhere with toilets.

The shelter has a back wall to aid in the protection against the weather, although it is unfortunately also a target for graffiti. It faces towards the lagoon, providing a great view while stopping for a lunch or break.
