The Forest Drive is a scenic drive through Woondum State Forest, starting at the Mothar Mountain Rock Pools. It isn’t a set drive as such, with several trails through the forest, often used for hiking.
The drive is unsealed and has several whoa boys, humps in the road used for erosion control on dirt roads, in particular when the road ascends or descends.
The track follows through some beautiful forest, including sections with ferns. The drive is easy to do, although the section heading north from near Noosa Road had not long been graded and the ground was quiet soft in places.
