This drive seems to have two names, both using Tourist Drive 3. Whether you call it Granite Belt Drive or Fruit Run, it takes you by some of the regions great fruit growing areas.
With different seasons you can expect to find different fruits, with Autumn and Spring offering the best times.
Autumn
Autumn is the peak harvest time for apples, grapes, and stone fruit, with the best visual experience towards the end of April with foliage bursting with reds, golds, and rust tones from the plentiful deciduous trees.
Spring
Spring is berry season, especially strawberries and early apples. Stanthorpe Berry Festival is held in November, presenting the areas incredible berries, including berry tastings, cooking demos with local and celebrity chefs, market stalls, and live music.
