Rockingham Coastal Drive is in Western Australia as Tourist Drive 202. It is a 20km scenic drive along the Rockingham coast, about 40kms south of Perth.
The drive starts on Kwinana Beach Road, after turning off Patterson Road. Turn left towards Kwinana Beach shortly afterwards. Go all the way to the end to reach Wells Park at Kwinana Beach.
The road becomes Rockingham Beach Road and passes park areas and enters into Rockingham itself. The visitor information centre is one street over in Kent Street, between Flinders Lane and Railway Terrace. The Rockingham Museum is near the information centre on Kent Street, across Flinders Lane.
After the shopping area, turn into Val St to the Esplanade to continue along the waterfront to Palm Beach and another jetty. Further along is the Rotary Park Beach Front with boat ramps, picnic tables and playground. The beachfront along Esplanade has a footpath running all the way along it.
At the end of the Esplanade, the road turns left into Hymus St where you shortly reach Point Peron Road with a brown sign to Cape Peron or Point Peron. Point Peron is a reserve with stunning views and walks around the point.
Coming back out of Point Peron, turn into Memorial Drive then right into Lease Rd. Turn right again at Boundary Rd and this takes you to the west-facing waterfront along Shoalwater Bay along Arcadia Drive. At the southern end of Arcadia Drive is a ferry to take you over to Penguin Island.
Arcadia Drive then heads east along the coastline into Safety Bay Road and Safety Bay. There are several spots along the bay to stop at. The last is Warnbro Beach just before Warnbro Beach Rd where there is parking, picnic table and toilets.
Safety Bay Road then starts to head into suburban areas and 3km out to Ennis Ave where the tourist drive ends.

Wells Park, Kwinana Beach – toilets, boat ramp, playground, old jetty
Naval Memorial Park, Rockingham – commemorates Royal Australian Navy personnel who have died in service or been killed in action. A fin from Oberon class submarine HMAS Orion is at the park. Maritime Museum in Fremantle has a full submarine with tours. There are sheltered picnic tables and access to the beach.
Bell Park Reserve, Rockingham – located at the north end of the developed section of Rockingham, Bell Park Reserve has picnic facilities and access to the beach.
Churchill Park, Rockingham – located near the jetty, Churchill Park is the centre of beach activity in Rockingham at the end of the main street. Picnic tables, playgrounds and toilets. Churchill Park is the location of the much loved anchor, stone and log that has been part of the park for generations.

Cape Peron, Rockingham – Also known as Point Peron, it is a reserve on a point providing great ocean views. Walks around the limestone point and see mounts and buildings of the Point Peron Gun Battery.
Shoalwater Bay, Rockingham – Shoalwater Bay is on the western end of Rockingham where there are islands a few hundred metres off the beach. A five minute ferry ride takes you to the Penguin Island Discovery Centre.
