The Atherton Information Centre is on the main road passing through Atherton, on the corner where the Kennedy Hwy and the Atherton-Herberton Road meet. It is south of Mareeba, north of Herberton, and east of Malanda and Yungaburra.

From Herberton head north on the Atherton-Herberton Rd (turn right coming out of Herberton Historic Village). Follow Atherton-Herberton Rd for around 17km. The Atherton Visitor Information Centre is on the left at the roundabout in the main part of town.

From Mareeba head south on the Kennedy Hwy (turn left coming out of Mareeba Heritage Museum and Visitor Information Centre). Follow Kennedy Hwy for around 33km. The Atherton Visitor Information Centre is on the right at the roundabout in the main part of town.

From Malanda head west on the Malanda-Atherton Rd (turn right coming out of Malanda Falls Visitor Information Centre). Follow Malanda-Atherton Rd to the end for 15km, then turn right onto the Kennedy Hwy. Follow Kennedy Hwy for 3.7km and the Atherton Visitor Information Centre is opposite on the left at the roundabout in the main part of town.

From Yungaburra head west on the Gillies Range Rd (turn right coming out Yungaburra onto the main road). Follow Gillies Range Rd for 12.5km, then turn right onto the Kennedy Hwy. Follow Kennedy Hwy for 700m and the Atherton Visitor Information Centre is opposite on the left at the roundabout in the main part of town.
