The Wiangaree Information Centre is on the Worendo Street side road off the main road through Wiangaree on the Summerland Way.
The information centre is non-accredited and is a store rather than primarily for tourist information. The general store is a post office, a cafe with cooked meals, licensed with wet drinks, and to make sure they are as diverse as possible, they sell orchids.
Outside across the street is Aboody Park, a good place for a rest stop with plenty of parking to get off the main road, public toilets, free BBQ and sheltered picnic tables, and a playground for the children.
