The Fraser Island Barge at River Heads is one of two locations to catch a vehicle barge across to Fraser Island. River Heads is between Hervey Bay and Maryborough and is across from the western coast of Fraser Island. The barge heads to the jetty at Kingfisher Bay where the western resort is located.
