Beaudesert Arts and Crafts Visitor Information Centre

The Arts and Crafts Visitor Information Centre is on the northern side of Beaudesert out of the main town area.

It is an accredited visitor information centre with maps, brochures, and itineraries. It is staffed by volunteers and creators of the arts and crafts.

The community arts centre was started around 21 years ago by the Potters group as a place where local artists can utilise to do their work and sell it. The creators pay a commission for their work and goods sold, with a reduced commission if they volunteer 1 day each month.

Art and craft products in the Beaudesert arts centre

Walking inside there is a counter opposite the entrance. To the left is shelving of local products including edible delights. A larger area is to the right with various art pieces and more local products.

The arts centre has extended over the years and continues to have a workshop for use by artists, including an on-site kiln, and a market on the first Saturday of the month

Beaudesert Marketfest is held beside the arts centre when the centre sells Devonshire Tea. The market runs from 7am to midday.

Beside the centre, there are covered picnic tables, toilets, bins, and a playground for the kids to get rid of some energy built up sitting in the car travelling.

A non-accredited information centre can be found at the Beaudesert Museum Brown Sign link that is closer to the middle of the town.
