This is a historic precinct set in the old ‘Cardwell Telegraph and Post Office’ (now known as the Bush Telegraph) which was built in 1870 and is one of the oldest buildings in North Queensland.

To Get There
The Cardwell Visitor Information Centre is on the main road through Cardwell, the Bruce Highway between Ingham and Tully. Heading north it is on the left, around 750m from coming into Cardwell. Heading south it is on the right, around 3km from coming into Cardwell.
