The Visitor Information Centre in Daintree Village is on the main street in Daintree. It is open daily and a location for Crocodile Express River Cruises where their Upper Daintree Cruise operates from.
The 60-minute Upper Daintree River Cruise winds its way through rainforest and mangroves with views of Thornton Peak. This cruise is popular for bird watches with wading birds and Brahminy Kites. As the name suggests, you get close up sightings of saltwater crocodiles. Check-in is at the visitor information centre.
The Lower Daintree Cruise is itself a brown sign, located near the Daintree Ferry about 13km from Daintree Village.
