No, this is not a playground of electric BBQs to play will. It is however a park with facilities you can stop at for a break.
The park has some covered picnic tables and a couple of free BBQs for use. Next to it is a playground with swings, things to climb, spin, slide, and activity boards, plenty to keep kids entertained while waiting for lunch to be prepared or bought from the bakery up the street.
Behind the playground is a skate park with plenty of ramps and rails.
The toilet block has flushing toilets, and are disabled accessible.
There is an information board with details of things you can do in the area. One side is of things in or close to Yarraman, such as Yarraman Heritage Museum , Roger’s Park in Yarraman State Forest, and Yarraman Creek across the field from the park.
The other side is of things in surrounding areas, such as Bunya Mountains , The Palms National Park , Cooyar Suspension Bridge , Muntapa Park , Coomba Falls , and gold fossicking at Seven Mile Diggings .
To get there:
Coming into Yarraman from Blackbutt on D’Aguilar Hwy, 275m after crossing Yarraman Creek coming into town, turn left into Margaret St at the brown sign for Elec. BBQ Playground. Follow for 400m with the park on the left.
