The Big Lotus Flower is a sculpture in the Chinese precinct of Dai Gum San in Bendigo. The Lotus represents Buddhism, along with the related sculptures of a chrysanthemum and garlic blossoms representing Confucianism and Taoism.
The Big Lotus Flower has fibreglass petals half filled with concrete for strength. The flower bud in the centre is made with steel pipe with lights.
Big Lotus Flower was part made by Metal Shaper C8 Designs 
, who do metal fabrication. They also collaborated in the building of the big Garlic Blossoms or Allium.
The name of the precinct, Dai Gum San, means ‘the big gold mountain’ in Cantonese. The Chinese played a significant part in the history of Bendigo and the gold rush, the site once occupied by Chinese miners.
The area uses open space connecting the Chinese Yi Yuan Garden and the Golden Dragon Museum.
The Big Lotus Flower can be found at Park Road, just off Pall Mall (Midland Hwy), about 350 metres from the Bendigo Information Centre.
