From Peak Crossing, head north towards Ipswich on Ipswich Boonah Rd for 7.8km, and turn into Carmichails Rd with the brown sign to Hardings Paddock Picnic Area. Continue for 3.3km to the entrance of Hardings Paddock Picnic Area. Continue for 1km to reach the picnic area. To get to the camping area, continue through the picnic area to get to the entrance of the camping area.

From Ipswich, head south along Ipswich Boonah Rd. From Cunningham Hwy continue for 5.8km, and turn into Carmichails Rd with the brown sign to Hardings Paddock Picnic Area. Continue for 3.3km to the entrance of Hardings Paddock Picnic Area. Continue for 1km to reach the picnic area. To get to the camping area, continue through the picnic area to get to the entrance of the camping area.
